FLAKEY PIE CRUST
| Ingredients |

| 3 C Sifted Flour |
| 1/4 C Water |
| 1/2 t Salt |
| 1 C Shortning |
| 2or3 T Butter |
| Directions |

| Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. |
| Take out 1/3 cup of this mix and add 1/4 C of water to make a paste. Stir with a fork. |
| Add shortning to flour and salt mixture. Cut in with two knives. |
| Add 'flour/water' paste in dabs. Mix together with hands. |
| Chill in the refridgerator for 30 minutes. |
| Roll out between two sheets of wax paper or use floured surface if possible. |
