| Directions |
| Mix water and sugar in a sauce pan. |
| Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Maintain a slow boil, uncovered, for 20 minutes. |
| Note: The mixture will become syrupy while the sugar water is boiling. |
| Mix Coffee with boiling water in a separate container. |
| Allow both mixtures to cool somewhat, then mix together in a 1/2 gallon container. |
| Add Vodka and mix well. |
| Bring volume to 1/2 gallon with water. |
| Split a vanilla bean lengthwise then place the bean in the bottle and cap tightly. |
| Let the mixture 'age' for a month or more. |
